High School Youth Ministry

Our parish is signed up to participate – all you have to do is head to https://ProjectYM.com/watch this Sunday at 8pm.

Two quick notes:

1. The broadcast starts at 8pm EST, but plan to log in a few minutes early to make sure you’re on when it starts.
2. You can access the event on any device with a web browser – but the faster the connection, the better.

Though this event is geared toward teens, parents are invited to watch along!

In-Person Meetings are TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED:
High School Faith Formation is held at 6:30 p.m. Sundays at St. Matthew's Church in Hampden.
REGISTRATION FORM (2019-2020)

Hosted by Lifeteen and Franciscan University of Steubenville, the conference welcomes 3,200 high school students from throughout New England. This Eucharist centered event gives students a chance to come before the Lord and encounter His real, living love for them.

Taylor Guerrette shares about her first time at a Steubenville Youth Conference: "it completely took my faith to a whole new level. I feel so connected with Jesus  "I could sing out and glorify Him without feeling like I need to hide that from anyone. I felt like Jesus is love and I encountered him through the sacraments in a way I never have before."
 
Recent graduate, Ryan Bebbs unpacks his experience:
Ryan: "As a graduating senior, I'm going to be away from home. It can feel lonely when you think about how far you'll be from your family, but during adoration I heard God remind me that I'm not alone and that He'll always be there to pick me back up. It's nice to know that there are other teenagers out there who have the same values and the same level of faith as you do. The talks gave me a good perspective on real world issues and the tools to tackle them when they come along."
