The mission of Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery is to fulfill the corporal and spiritual works of mercy to bury and pray for the dead. Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery offers a beautiful and dignified place of rest for our beloved deceased. Lots are available to both Catholics and non-Catholics, and may be pre-purchased.
A Message from Cemetery Director -Dave Lindemann (Jan. 2025):
Over the course of this winter, our cemetery staff will be creating digital maps which will be shared on this webpage as they are completed. While these maps are not able to contain the individual names of all those buried at Mount Pleasant, each map will show the FAMILY NAME of each Lot Holder and the location of the lot within a particular section. We hope that this new resource will improve your experience when visiting departed family members and friends. As always, if you need assistance with identifying the Section and Lot Number of a loved one, the cemetery office staff is available to assist at the office in St. Mary Church, or via phone (947-4322).
Many people ask about planting flowers, shrubs and trees at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery. Our guidelines are posted at the entrance of the cemetery. Your cooperation with our guidelines will help keep our cemetery beautiful and dignified. If you have any questions, kindly contact Dave Lindemann at the cemetery office at 947-4322.
The columbarium provides a reverential resting place for the deceased who have been cremated. Contact Cemetery Director Dave Lindemann at 947-4322 to discuss burial options.
